DNA Proof of Parentage
The DNA Proof of Parentage service offers accurate parentage testing for canines. The test compares the DNA of a puppy to its potential dam and sire. A result of Certified or Disqualified will be returned. All DNA collected will be permanently stored electronically in our secure DNA World Pet Registry and physically in our bonded, climate controlled facility.
All Proof of Parentage services are supported by Patent Pending online software created by the DNA World Pet Registry (www.DNAWPR.com). This software is provided to you for free. It contains all the tools you need to manage your litter(s) and privately perform the parentage analysis.

For future litters you can re-use your registered canines, only new puppies require new kits. You can compare your puppies DNA to any previously registered canines. The DNA Proof of Parentage test ensures compatibility for participating clubs and international breeders.
How it works
Following these simple steps will get you started building an internationally compatible DNA pedigree for your current pets and future litters.
- Purchase BioPet's DNA Proof of Parentage Test from your local retailer or online store.
- Using the DNA collection materials provided, collect the samples from your dogs. Be sure to read the instructions that come with the kit completely to ensure proper collection and return procedures.
- Mail your sample(s) back as directed in the instructions. When the sample(s) arrive an account will be created for you on the DNA World Pet Registry. If you previously had an account, the new pets will be added to your current account. If a new account was created you will be notified via email with your username and password for the Registry.
- Use the DNA World Pet Registry tools to record information about your dog(s). You can choose what information you want to publicly display. The Primary Identifying information will be displayed on your DNA Certified Canine Certificate. The more information you provide, the more integrity your Certificate holds.
- When the DNA sample(s) are processed by BioPet Vet Lab, you will be notified again via email that your sample(s) are ready for analysis.
- Run your Proof of Parentage Test privately, and print out the DNA Certified Canine Certificate for your records or give it to the new owners of the tested pet.
