Club Managed Parentage
Our Club Managed Parentage service, in association with the DNA World Pet Registry is designed to give clubs and organizations the ability to independently certify parentage and register pets utilizing the latest DNA technology.
Club Managed Parentage uses the same DNA analysis algorithms as our standard DNA Proof of Parentage Test. The difference is that a club or organization collects the DNA samples, enters identifying information about an animal and
executes the parentage test instead of the pet owner. This allows your club or organization to independently verify the dogs being registered to you to ensure their validity. Using this service, clubs and organizations can have the
highest level of accuracy in the information collected for each potential member. Clubs and organizations also have access to the DNA World Pet Registry's reporting tools to keep track of their member pets and owners.
Clubs and organizations now have the ability to create their own custom registration processes based on DNA using the free tools provided by the DNA World Pet Registry.
How it works
- Clubs/organizations sign up for a Club Managed Parentage account on the DNA World Pet Registry
- Purchase DNA collection materials and extraction services. Note: Please contact one of our representatives to discuss what service options best suit your clubs unique needs.
- Using the DNA collection materials, collect DNA samples from your member, or potential member dogs.
- Use the DNA World Pet Registry Club Administration tools to record information about the dogs sampled. Note: You have the ability to customize what identifying information your club/organization requires.
- Collected DNA samples need to be sent back to our lab for extraction and electronic format conversion. You will be automatically notified via email when they are ready for analysis.
- Using the DNA World Pet Registry Club Administration tools, execute your Proof of Parentage tests.
- Print DNA Certified Canine Certificates for your records, or give to your members.
- Clubs can earn additional revenue by setting a price for the registration process.
- Each registered dog receives a free profile on the DNA World Pet Registry.
- Members can have an unlimited number of pets.
- Members have full access to all the Pet Management features of the Registry.
- Clubs retain a secure record of all pets registered with your club or organization.
- Pet Identifying information entered by the club/organization can never be changed by the pet owner. This ensures the integrity of the information available.
- All dogs' public profiles will display Certified Canine seal (if certified) and will show club affiliation.
- A registered dog's DNA is permanently stored in the system and can be used for any type of future DNA testing. Only new puppies require DNA collection.
